Montpellier SEO Marketing Executive Freelance Vacancy

Indigoextra has a vacancy for a freelance SEO and Marketing Executive in Montpellier, France to join their busy SEO (Search Engine Optimization), web design, graphic design and marketing company. Applications to be received by 14 May 2013 please.

Indigoextra was formed in May 2006 and since then has expanded to a close team of 20 people. The Directors are moving to Montpellier in May 2013 and are looking for a local freelance SEO Executive to take the business forward (see www.indigoextra.com for more information about the company and services provided).

The vacancy is for 28 – 37 hours a week (your choice) and can include some flexitime. We will be based near the Place de Comédie and you will be working from our office to begin with, but after an initial period of training and hand-over, will work from your own home all but one day a week. The pay is €16 - €20 an hour, depending on experience.

The SEO freelance vacancy is for a bilingual (English and French) speaker and the vacancy includes two components - responding to enquiries and completing SEO work. We’re ideally looking for someone who is fluent in English and French, however would consider someone who is fluent in one of the languages and has good verbal skills in the other.

The roles are:

Responding to Design & SEO Enquiries

We receive 100% of our enquiries from our existing websites and referrals, therefore you will be responding to incoming enquiries. This will include:

• Replying to new and existing customers by email, phone and Skype.
• Gaining a clear idea of clients’ wishes and expectations during calls.
• Editing graphic design, web design and SEO proposals and sending them to customers.
• Undertaking keyword research that we include in the proposals (this includes using Google’s keywords tool, Excel and other software).
• Reviewing a customer’s existing website and making recommendations on what could be improved in the on-page SEO, graphic design or functionality.
• Following up enquiries by phone or email when we don’t receive a response.
• Keeping different proposal templates synchronised and organised and communicating well with the team on the progress of various tasks.

SEO Consultation and On-Page SEO

If you have a marketing background (or have dealt with managing proposals as part of another job), but don’t have SEO experience, then this is an area we can provide training in.

This will include:

• Additional keyword research and selection.
• In-depth analysis of clients’ websites and providing written and verbal reports on how the on-page optimization could be improved.
• Identifying if content or site navigation can be improved for site visitors, as well as search engines.
• Reviewing the existing links going to a site and recommending which URLs links should be built to and what anchor texts should be used.
• Writing content (in English &/or French) to add to client’s websites.
• Writing a blog for our own sites and completing other work to promote Indigoextra.

Vacancy Requirements

The ideal candidate will be based in or near Montpellier, France and have the following profile:

• Be a team player with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Have prior experience in marketing, SEO &/or proposal writing.
• Be highly computer literate and familiar with Word and Excel. Knowledge of html or CMS packages would be a bonus.
• Be fluent in English &/or French and able to converse easily in the second language.
• Be assertive and a quick learner.
• Be able to write in a persuasive and professional manner.
